Adam Wright

Adam Wright is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Seed2Source. He has a vast history in the fields of CEA, sustainable agriculture, hydroponics, aeroponics, and local food systems. Upon graduating from Stetson University with an industrial design focus, he began working overseas in Italy for the county’s leading eyewear factories. This experience broadened his perspective and kindled a passion for sustainable agriculture and local food systems that are the mainstay of Italy.

Adam brings a diverse skill set to his work, encompassing design, implementation, construction, operations, and marketing. His involvement at Seed2Source has been notable, participating in agricultural projects for various organizations like the City of Orlando, Orlando Utilities Commission, Central FL YMCA, and Agrihoods. In 2017, he took up the role of Co-Founder and Director of Operations at The Villages Grown, thus working alongside project visionary Jennifer Waxman of which was solely backed by the developer of The Villages. This initiative is known as the largest food production CEA of its kind in the Southeastern United States. Adam’s responsibilities involved designing, constructing, and managing a business model that touched all aspects of the operation, including production growing, local food aggregation, distribution, education, and the implementation of new production systems.

Adam’s contributions to innovation are significant, developing new production methodologies in aeroponics and hydroponics growing, resulting in the first year-round CEA Tomato Program; the first production Culinary Hemp Program; and the first Florida-based hydroponic Blonde Frisee cultivation. Always striving for progress, Adam Wright is committed to finding sustainable and efficient solutions for the agricultural industry, dedicating his efforts to seamlessly integrate technology and food production.
